Notes - The PRDH database places her circa-1760 birth in "Colonies anglaises (Etats-Unis)", which is accurate enough despite the fact that the Etats-Unis didn't exist even as an idea in 1760. Her Acadian father Joseph Vincent was deported to Massachusetts in 1755; he married her mother Jeanne Benoit, as his second wife, in Boston on 18 Apr 1759, so Françoise was almost certainly born in Boston. Françoise's parents married again, presumably to ensure that their marriage was recognized as legitimate by the Catholic church, in Trois-Rivières on 20 Sep 1766.
