    • John Benson's will left "five pounds to my daughter Hall" and mentioned a "house lot which I have already verbally given to my son Hall." This does not absolutely prove that Richard Hall's wife Martha was the Martha known to have been born to John Benson and Mary Williams, but given the geographical continuity of all parties, it seems to make it very likely.
