• Notes

  Not to be confused with the William Read/Reed of Weymouth who married Avis Chepman. He was a tailor, and arrived in 1635 on the Marygould, on the same voyage as the Rev. Joseph Hull. First at Weymouth, then Boston by 1646 and Rhode Island by 1674.
