    • The records of Green-Wood record an Elizabeth Hoe buried there on 18 Apr 1863, having died in New York City, no date of death or age recorded. A note reads "Removal from New York City." That this is the mother of James Clark Hoe is deduced from her Find a Grave page, which notes that James C. Hoe (buried 16 Sep 1880) and Temperance M. Hoe (buried 21 Nov 1894) are buried in the same lot (4103) and section (44).
