Notes - He was a mason. In Oct 1698 he was made lieutenant of the second train band in Milford. He became a deacon of the Milford church in about 1709.
His death dates varies widely from source to source, and notwithstanding the crudely-retouched photograph of his gravestone that mars his Find a Grave page (to which we will not link), the actual stone was found illegible as early as 1889. But The Ancestry and Descendants of Frederick Tracy Camp & His Wife Marion Fee (citation details below) cites a "record made by his grandson, the Rev. Samuel Camp of Ridgefield" as its source for the date we show here. Given the known fastidiousness of the Rev. Camp, we think he probably had accurate knowledge of when his grandfather died.
