Notes - On 19 Sep 1637, "Margaret Seale, the wife of [blank] Seale, confessed adultery, and was found guilty. On 12 Mar 1638, it was ordered that "the 3 adulterers, John Hathaway, Robert Allen, and Margaret Seale, shall be severely whipped, & banished, never to return again, on pain of death."
