Notes - He first appears in New England records in Weymouth in 1639. To Gloucester in about 1650, then to Milton in 1662.
From The Granberry Family (citation details below):
n 1662 he settled in Milton, Mass. He was Town Clerk of Gloucester, 1652-1656, and served as Deputy for Gloucester in the Mass. General Court, May 1652. He was Deputy for Milton, May 1669, Feb. 1679/80, May 1680, and May 1681. The Deputy service qualifies him as an ancestor for the Society of Colonial Dames of America, and for the Society of Colonial Wars.
His will, dated 7 Mar. 1681/2, proved 30 Mar. 1682, named his daughter Rebecca Fenno. He mentioned also his brother-in-law Deacon Henry Allen of Boston.
