• Notes

  Also called Peter de Courtenay. Count of Montargis and Courtenay. Accompanied his brothers, King Louis VII and Robert, on the Second Crusade, where he fought in the siege of Damascus. Went on crusade a second time in 1179, and died in Palestine on a 10th of March in 1180, 1181, 1182, or 1183.
