Notes - He was a weaver. He may have been the Richard Baldwin baptised 18 Jun 1570 in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, son of Thomas Baldwin. It seems plausible simply from geographical proximity that he was related in some way to the emigrant Sylvester Baldwin who died at sea in 1638 just before reaching New England and whose descendants were at Milford, Connecticut, but nothing has been conclusively established.
