  Emigrated to New England in 1635 on the Defence. First at Dorchester; Scituate by 1642, Roxbury by 1647; Woburn in 1648. With his wife and his children Israel, Sarah, and Rebecca, plus another child whose name is lost, he returned to England between 1648 and 1656, and died there.
