  She is mentioned in her father's will of 1813, as "my daughter Betsey Hollis", to whom he gives (along with his daughter Polly White) "one hundred and sixty acres of land lying in Wain County Indeana Teritory the southwest sexcion township the twelf raing the first the above to be equally to be divided in quantity and quality to them and their heirs forever." We tend to doubt that her middle name was "Todd", as claimed by her Find a Grave page, or even that she had a middle name, given how rare middle names were in the time and place of her birth.
