    According to Frank Renaud (citation details below), an "old MS. pedigree" indicates that she was her husband Robert de Legh's second cousin. Renaud also makes her a daughter of an Adam de Norley of North Leigh, son of Thurstan de Norley, and Adam's wife Matilda.

    After the death of her husband Robert de Legh, she was charged with having forged a settlement of her husband's estates in fraud of the heir and in favor of her youngest son, John. The outcome of the case is unknown.
