Mr. Bailey, must remove all doubt. 'Upon the 25 March, 1687, at my own house, in Watertown, I married James Begalow, the son of John Begalow, and Patience Brown, the daughter of Jona.     Notwithstanding the above, James Bigelow does appear in his father's will, as reproduced in the Genealogy of the Bigelow Family in America (citation details below):

I give & bequeath unto my son James Biglo fifteen pounds, which I lent him as may appear by bond under his band and seal, and I give & bequeath to my said son James' son James Biglo ten pounds in money to be p'd him if he shall live to the age of twenty one years, but if it so happen that he deces. before s'd age, then ye s'd ten pounds to be equally devided between my s'd son James' surviving children, when they shall be of the age of twenty one years or day of marriage which shall first happon."

    Not listed in the 1881 Genealogy of the Child, Childs and Childe Families as a daughter of John Child and Hannah French, but the compiler of the WeRelate page about Hannah Child points out that, first, there is a gap of over eight years between the second and third listed child, into which a Hannah born in 1700 could easily fit, and second, John Child's will names grandchildren "by Daughter Hannah Liscum which She had by her former Husband John Fay." Hannah Child married Samuel Lyscom in 1734, a year and a half after the death of her first husband, John Fay.
