Also called Ann Babcock.

"Susanna Babcock, the wife of Joseph Reynolds, was the daughter of John and Mary (Lawton) Babcock. She was born in Westerly, R.I., where her father was one of the first settlers. [...] The name Susannah is given as Ann in the list of John Babcock's children in The Babcock Genealogy. She is there placed as the second child born in 1665, but most likely was born later." Susanna married Joseph Reynolds about 1696. Joseph (son of Joseph Reynolds and (Unknown first wife of Joseph Reynolds)) was born about 1672 in North Kingstown, Washington, Rhode Island; died in Apr 1722 in North Kingstown, Washington, Rhode Island. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Susanna married Capt. Robert Spencer on 7 Nov 1723. Robert (son of John Spencer and Susannah) was born on 6 Nov 1674 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island; died in 1748 in Exeter, Washington, Rhode Island. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Wife Joanna; sons: Joseph, and Robert; daughters: Isabel Sprague, Sarah Wells, Lucy Eldred, Lydia Gardiner, Elizabeth Vaughan, Joanna Willcox, Anne Baker, Alice Reynolds, unmarried. Mary Reynolds daughter of Sarah Wells.

Witnesses: George Peirce, Oliver Spink and Amey Spink.

George married Joanna Spencer on 14 Sep 1729 in North Kingstown, Washington, Rhode Island. Joanna (daughter of Capt. Robert Spencer and Theodosia Whaley) was born on 30 Sep 1711 in East Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:

She is probably the Sarah Reynolds shown as born 11 Aug, year not known, to George and Hannah Reynolds of North Kingstown, in Vital Records of Rhode Island 1636-1850, first series, volume 5, page 95. Hannah could be a mistake for Joanna. She was definitely a daughter of George and Joanna Reynolds; George called her "Sarah Wells" in his will.

Susannah married Pardon Crandall about 1783 in Hebron, Washington, New York. Pardon (son of Nathan Crandall and Bathsheba Pierce) was born in 1761 in Hopkinton, Washington, Rhode Island; died on 24 Mar 1837 in Hebron, Washington, New York. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
