At first I thought this might be a reference to LOST SILVER, Peter Jackson's ground-breaking documentary that reveals New Zealand's hitherto-unsuspected place in the history of movies (and more).
It's so hard to find information on this film, either in Maltin or on the web, that I'd be inclined to doubt its existence had I not seen it on video. Worth a look, if you can find it.
