• Notes

  A proven "gateway ancestor", ancestral in this database to T. S. Eliot. She was a cousin of Sir Richard Darley, to whose family, in around 1630, Thomas Shepard became the chaplain. She died of tuberculosis contracted on her journey to the New World.
