Carpenter's Regiment in Rhode Island Alarm; July 20, 1777; served one month, five days and marched from Rehoboth to Bristol; he enlisted a third time as fifer in Capt. Jacob Fullers Company in Col. Jacobs Regiment; May 22, 1778, served seven months and six days; served in Rhode Island; he enlisted again as fifer in Capt. Nathaniel Ide's Company, Col.
