Notes - "WALKER MEM states that the above William Walker is son of William Walker of Eastham, but no direct proof has been found. Circumstantial evidence is (1) naming of oldest dau. Susanna for presumed mother; (2) he was undoubtedly named for his presumed father; (3) the children of Jabez Walker of Eastham, brother of William Sr., are established by vital records and by will of Jabez; (4) reliability of WALKER MEM, compiled before 1861 [see TAG 43:160]; (5) thorough study of the Walkers of Cape Cod shows no other possibility."
