    • His gravestone says he died 16 Apr 1760, while the published town records say 13 Apr 1760. Also, his gravestone says he was "born in the County of Essex in England", while if Genealogy of the Denny Family in England and America (citation details below) is correct, his family lived in Suffolk, not Essex.

      He left England in June 1715, arriving in Boston on 12 September of that year, and removed to Leicester in March 1717.
