• Notes

  He was a weaver. He fled from Saco, Maine to Salem at the time of King Philip's War. Around 1684 he removed to Enfield, Connecticut, where he served as a constable and selectman. His birthplace is unclear. Jacobus says it might have been England, or alternately Exeter, New Hampshire.
