Notes - First in Salem about 1639, then in Rehoboth 1643, where he was one of the original proprietors. He was a bricklayer.
The extensive DNA tests of multiple direct-male-line descendants of early New England Fullers chronicled in Pamela Paschke and Raymond T. Wing's article "The Fuller Family of Redenhall, Norfolk, England: Initial Report on the Fuller Big Y DNA Project" (Mayflower Descendant 70:101, 2022) show that while Dr. Matthew Fuller (d. 1678) cannot have been a son or direct descendant of Mayflower passenger Edward Fuller, Dr. Matthew and the Robert Fuller of this entry were clearly related in some way, and that all three of these Fullers, along (obviously) with Edward's brother Samuel Fuller (1581-1633), also a Mayflower passenger, probably shared a common ancestor.
In "Was Matthew Fuller the Son of Mrs. Edward Fuller...Or Was He From a Different Family?" (Mayflower Descendant 72:109, Summer 2024), author Erica Hahn proposed, based on DNA evidence and contemporary records, that this Robert Fuller was a brother of Dr. Matthew Fuller, and that they were both sons of a John Fuller baptized in Redenhall on 30 Oct 1586, "son of William Fuller." But in a subsequent article, "Was Matthew Fuller of Barnstable, Massachusetts, a Son of Edward Fuller's Unnamed Wife? Some Corrections, Some Additions" (Mayflower Descendant 73:8, Winter 2025), Hahn says she no longer believes that this Robert Fuller was a son of the John Fuller baptized in Redenhall in 1586.
