Notes - The idea that her maiden name was Skidmore would appear to have been disproved.
Her Wikitree page (accessed 5 Dec 2024) makes a pretty convincing case — one of those genealogical arguments made entirely of circumstantial evidence, but an impressively large amount of it — that she was Cornelius Bogard's first cousin, the Sarah who was baptized 21 Jun 1747, second of her name, a daughter of Jacob Bogaert (1706->1771) and Nelletjen van Kuykendaal (b. 1715).
Her baptism was witnessed by Cornelis Westfael and Lisabeth Kuykendal.
According to the aforementioned Wikitree page, she outlived her husband and appears in the tax records of Jefferson Township, Ross County, Ohio from 1800 to 1819.
- The idea that her maiden name was Skidmore would appear to have been disproved.
