• Notes

  He was a transportee to Maryland on the Ark and the Dove, arriving on St. Clement's Island in March 1634. Many efforts have been made to connect him to the gentry Neville family, with no success. There is also no proof of any relationship between him and his contemporary in early Maryland, Richard Neville. He was a tobacco planter and at one point a member of the Maryland Assembly.
