  According to Gilbert Cope (citation details below), he and his wife came to Pennsylvania from Nether Walton, Cheshire. But according to Futhey and Cope (citation details below), Richardson "appears to have come from Lancashire." He and his wife settled in Whiteland, Chester County, in or before 1714.
