  The record of her marriage intention clearly spells her surname "Daxter"; the record of her actual marriage, "Dexter". Online claims notwithstanding, she cannot have been the Sarah Dexter, daughter of Benjamin Dexter, who was born 1 Jul 1702 in Rochester, Plymouth, Massachusetts; that Sarah Dexter married Silas Briggs of Rochester in 1730 and died, still married to him, in 1783.
