Reed, and Nathaniel Lane Taylor (citation details below) demonstrated that Agnes Hawley, already known to be a daughter of this Thomas Hawley, was specifically a daughter of his first wife, Margaret Brewse, and that Margaret was a daughter of John de Brewes and his wife Joan de Shardelow.
