1. Elizabeth Lothrop (daughter of Mark Lothrop). Notes:
She was perhaps the "Elizabeth, wife of Samuel Packard" who died in Bridgewater on 16 Jun 1716.
Elizabeth married Samuel Packard about 1678. Samuel (son of Samuel Packard and Elizabeth) was born in 1646; died before 1698. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
Children:- Daniel Packard was born before 29 Oct 1684; died on 22 Mar 1732.
2. Mark Lothrop died before 27 Oct 1685 in Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts. Notes:
He first appears in New England at Salem in 1643, then at Duxbury, then Bridgewater in 1656, where he was constable in 1658. It seems likely that he was a member of the same family as the eminent Rev. John Lothropp (1584-1653)—for instance, he called Capt. Thomas Lothrop his "kinsman"—but the exact connection is unknown to us.
