Lt. Thomas Cooper

Notes:

Emigrated to Boston, 1635, on the Christian; later in Windsor, Connecticut 1641, then immediately to Springfield, Massachusetts in April of the same year.

Both he and his wife were medical practitioners of some sort.

Thomas Cooper was killed in the burning of Springfield during King Philip's War.

Thomas married Sarah Slye before 1642. Sarah (daughter of George Slye) was born before 29 Oct 1615; was christened on 29 Oct 1615 in Lapworth, Warwickshire, England. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

1. Sarah Cooper was born about 1642; died on 21 Nov 1726 in Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts.
2. Mary Cooper was born on 15 Oct 1651; died on 30 Aug 1742 in Longmeadow, Hampden, Massachusetts.
