• Notes

  In 1225 his Ulster estates were confiscated by Henry III and given to the bishop of Durham, Robert Talebot having served under Hugh de Lacy, earl of Ulster, in an insurrection against the king. On payment of a £100 fine Robert was pardoned and his estates restored.
