Notes - Also Gaisbert; Gyspard; Casper; Bogart.
The will of Gysbert Bogard (original document and transcription here) and the will of Antoine Bogard (abstract here) both refer to Warner Bogard as their brother.
The baptismal records for Antoine Bogard and Warner Bogard (published in Baptismal and Marriage Registers of the Old Dutch Church of Kingston, Ulster County, New York ed. Roswell Randall Hoes; New York: De Vinne Press, 1891; pages 71 and 98 respectively) both name their parents as Cornelis Bogard and Eva Hornbeck.
No birth or baptismal record has been found for Gysbert Bogart, but it seems clear that, like his siblings, he was born in or around Kingston, New York in the first decade of the 1700s, probably closer to 1700 than not.
- Also Gaisbert; Gyspard; Casper; Bogart.
