Notes - Having begun as a Loyalist in the Revolution, he was converted to the revolutionaries' cause, and fought for them in North Carolina, consequentially dying of swamp fever.
He appears on a tax and exoneration roll for Dublin township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania for 1779, and in the same place at the same time in Pennsylvania's census of that year.
