Notes - He appears to have arrived at Upland, now Chester, Pennsylvania, in 1682. According to Hazel May Middleton Kendall (citation details below), he and his family were converted to the Society of Friends after a visit to Waterford by William Penn in 1678.
Albert Cook Myers (citation details below) says that "it is believed" that William Gregg, like the Dixon family, came "from the north of Ireland."
