  • Notes
    • He was a hatter. He arrived on the Mayflower and died in the first winter.

His 1611 marriage record in Leiden calls him "of London", but he may have been born elsewhere. In 1957 John C. Hunt published a record of a "Digorius Prust", son of Peter Prust, baptised 1582 in Hartland, Devon. Further research has failed to firmly identify the Mayflower passenger with the person in this record, although it has confirmed that the given name Degory was unusually common in Hartland and vicinity, and that the surname Priest and its variants were also common in that region.
