  Also called Rainald, etc. "He became seneschal of Normandy ('dapifer Normannie') under Geoffrey, duc de Bretagne, son of Henry II, king of England. Renaud went on Crusade, and in 1158 fought at the siege of Caesarea. Baudouin III, king of Jerusalem, gave him custody of the castle of Harenc. Renaud II died in 1166.
