  Both The Blackmans of Knight's Creek and Gary Boyd Roberts's The Royal Descent of 600 Immigrants (citation details below) show her as Margary Durvassal, daughter of Thomas Durvassal (d. bef. 1329) of Spernore, Warwickshire. But as far as we can tell, both works' primary source for this is Charles Wickliffe Throckmorton's problematic Genealogical and Historical Account of the Throckmorton Family in England and the United States, which, on examination, does not seem to us to make a convincing case for this connection.
