    He emigrated to New England in 1637. As reported in The Ancestry of Eva Belle Kempton 4 (citation details below), the wife of Anthony Fisher was received into the church at Dedham 27 March 1642. But Anthony took some persuading:
    "Md Anthony Fisher mentioned in ye beginning after many offences given in this conv'rsation & much means used to convince & reduce him into order, at last after god had much humbled him & brought him to a penitent co'fession therof he was co'fortably received into ye church 14d 1m 1645."

    "About 1671, Col. Goffe and Col. Whalley, two of the regicide judges of Charles I, were hidden by Captain Daniel in a little wood back of his house on Lowder street, near a pond. While there secreted, Captain Daniel's daughter, Lydia, carried them their food.
