Hannah Davis and Samuel Blood were first cousins, both being grandchildren of James and Ellen Blood.

Hannah married Samuel Blood on 1 Apr 1701. Samuel (son of Robert Blood and Elizabeth Willard) was born on 16 Oct 1672 in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:

She is mentioned in the will of her father Samuel Blood as "Elizabeth Rice". Additionally, in the records of a 1740 dispute about the validity of her father's will, she is called the wife of Zebediah Rice.

She is not mentioned in the will of her husband Zebediah, written 3 Aug 1771, so presumably she had died by then.

Solomon was born on 28 Jan 1741 in Shrewsbury, Worcester, Massachusetts; died on 28 May 1822 in Shrewsbury, Worcester, Massachusetts; was buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury, Worcester, Massachusetts. Also called Phineas. His gravestone clearly spells his first name Phinehas.

This listing for the daybook of Phinehas Hemenway at the Robert S. Cox Special Collections & University Archives Research Center, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, appears to conflate the Phineas Hemenway who is recorded in Bolton vital records as baptized 6 Sep 1794, son of Simeon and Mary Heminway, with Phinehas/Phineas Hemenway who died 21 Dec 1850. The latter married a woman named Nabby and they were the parents of Lydia Rice Hemenway. The former could not have been the father of Lydia Rice Hemenway who was born in 1803, nine years after the 1794 birth of Phineas the son of Simeon and Mary.

The gravestone of our Phinehas Hemenway gives his age at death as 76, consistent with a birth year of about 1774.

Phinehas married Nabby Beaman on 17 Jul 1803 in Sterling, Worcester, Massachusetts. Nabby was born in 1784; died on 24 Mar 1836; was buried in West Cemetery, Shutesbury, Franklin, Massachusetts. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
