    He was summoned to Parliament from 28 Dec 1375. In 1385 he was a commissioner in the Scrope vs. Grosvenor heraldic dispute. He accompanied Richard II to Ireland in 1399, but in August of that year he was among the first to join Bolingbroke at Chester, supporting Richard's imprisonment and hailing Bolingbroke as King Henry IV.

    John married Maud Holand before 3 May 1373. Maud (daughter of Robert de Holand and Alice de Lisle) was born about 1356; died on 4 May 1423. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
