      "José Maria Alviso Adobe/Rancho Milpitas" (citation details below) states that he arrived in the Bay Area at age four, as one of the three children accompanying the de Anza expedition of 1774-76. The Wikipedia article about his son José María de Jesus Alviso says that his wife Maria Bojorquez was also one of the children accompanying the expedition. The Beginnings of San Francisco (citation details below) says that he was "age ten" around the time of the expedition's arrival.
